The Bench Project; by geewhzz.

If you are reading this you have downloaded the zip file for my bench.

------>

HOW TO INSTALL:

(1)	Copy all of the .DAT files in /NE Official Bench/OBJDATA/ to your /Infogrames Interactive/RollerCoaster Tycoon 2/OBJDATA/ folder.

(2)	Load /NE Official Bench.SV6 and start building!

**RECOMMENDED: It is highly recommended that you load the .SV6 file in the scenario editor and customize the bench more to your liking. Every .DAT that is included in this zip has a place in the .DAT TABS I created. So swap out what you want to use with what is currently selected to better suit your needs, or add your own custom scenery you like better!**

The purpose of this bench is to give the community something that is useful and will hopefully cut down on the time people spend making benches so they have more time to build. I have heard numerous complaints about people not ever wanting to select objects, and I can see why. It is tedious and annoying. There is so much crap out there from people who had no clue what they were doing when they were making the object and it just clogs up the folder which has a limit in the game which can make scrolling hard and annoying.

I spent over two months sorting through objects trying to pinpoint the best ones to use while building. I tested them all to make sure they are the best possible objects out of the many clones out there and did the best of my ability to maximize scenery so the parkmaker has more tools at his/her fingertips to make a better park.

**The main purpose of this bench was to include as many useful objects in the tabs as possible. The reason for putting so many objects in each tab is because when a person customizes this bench to their liking they won't have a ton of objects in the "?" tab.**

Once done sorting all of these objects I grouped them into where I figured they belonged. Split up into 11 different tabs. They are as follows:

(1)	GW - Foilage Scenery Group - GWGRPFLG.DAT
(2)	GW - Base Block Scenery Group - GWGRPBB.DAT
(3)	GW - Roof Scenery Group - GWGRPRF.DAT
(4)	GW - Deco Block Scenery Group - GWGRPDCO.DAT
(5)	GW - Windows/Doors Scenery Group - GWGRPWDW.DAT
(6)	GW - Walls Scenery Group - GWGRPWLL.DAT
(7)	GW - Fences Scenery Group - GWGRPFNC.DAT
(8)	GW - Wall Decor/Poles & Posts Scenery Group - GWGRPPST.DAT
(9)	GW - Landblocks Scenery Group - GWGRPLBK.DAT
(10)	GW - B&M Supports - Complete Scenery Group - GWGRPBM.DAT
(11)	GW - Water Scenery Group - GWGRPWTR.DAT

There is a lot of new scenery in some of these groups made by me. I had to make some of them to maximize small scenery slots. For example, I converted every default RCT2 tree to Multi-Tile scenery and made them colorable (if they were a two shade base color) and set to not draw supports. The other good thing about me converted all of the trees were I was able to use the new utility Landmark Maker to fix the images of these MT objects so they aren't oversized in the tabs creating a nice, clean feel. I was able to save a ton of small scenery slots this way without having to sacrifice trees. Some might think that MT trees are harder to work with than SS, and for the most part they are, mainly because they can cause white glitches when doing hacking and they won't place correctly on slanted land and look off from certain angles. This is all true, but if you have a handle of map object manipulation, you will be able to fix these so they look normal on any slanted land. Besides saving small scenery slots with MT trees, it also allows you to rotate them to the angle you want to use instead of the game randomly doing it. I recommend knowing what type of park you are building and having a good idea of what trees you will be using throughout your park and going back and adding the small scenery trees to make building easier.

Another thing I think people will appreciate is the B&M tab. This includes the complete set of Toon's supports but with the Multi-Tile objects in place of the small scenery ones to save on space.

I put a lot of thought into this bench when considering which objects to use. I took careful note to the order the tabs have. I wanted to keep everything as organized as possible as I want this to be the standard RCT bench for years to come. I highly doubt enough scenery will ever be made in the future to ever make this outdated, but I could be very very wrong.
